Ambient music is a sound genre focused on atmosphere over the traditional melodies and sounds found in many contemporary songs.

I like to think of ambient music as the audio component to the three dimensional world. Are we leveraging sound as a tool or an escape?
Modern media consumption has subtle (or NOT so subtle) influence over our emotions, intentions, and actions. The bare, unassuming sounds of ambient music give us more autonomy as listeners.
We prescribe whatever feels right to the audio sensory experiences we are having. The world is ours, there is no separation.
